Trachtenberg is an advanced educational program that helps students learn Mathematics in the fastest and accurately way. This application features a unique method based in mental calculation that improve learner's capabilities to solve any type of Math problems at ease, without the need of calculators or pen and paper, just by training the brain power. This program is suitable for children and adults alike. From the program interface toolbar, we can access Basic operations such as Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Doubling, Halving, Odd & Evens, Units & Tens, Numbers & Tens, and Keyboard Skills. Practice option displays speed addition, speed multiplication, speed division, square, and square root. We are allowed to view and print performance reports, switch users, and reset scores. This utility also lets us select our grading (beginner, intermediate, advanced, custom), the time between question and answer, show/hide mental boxes, show hints, etc. We can evaluate the demo version free of charge. There are some features available for us to try such as the Keyboard Skills, where we can practice typing the numbers (0-9), and mathematical symbols. (+ and -). Speed Math runs under Windows Vista, and XP OS. |
